The Google kids

About 2 years ago I attended an agile development seminar and was surprised to find a few Google employees in attendance.  At the time I didn't actually know anyone that worked there, and back then Google was everyone's wet dream instead of everyone's new biggest fear.  Due to this, I was excited to meet these people, and was intrigued to find out they all shared some common traits.

First up, they were insanely smart.  Quick to get understand ideas, quick to generate ideas, and very quick to tell you about their new idea.

Second, they were all completely in love with technology to the point of obsession.  It was their first and last thought every day, the reason for living.

Third, they were all young and semi hip.  All clothes came from expensive boutique stores that the previous generation software geeks would be scared to visit.  Still there was something about their appearance that said, "geek".

Last, they were all ego maniacs.  They were going to change your world, you were going to love it, and you would of course bow down to them as your god.
